An update. I was forced to rasterize the coins and the shadows before export as it creates some artifacts, but in vector form it's still all 100% re-sizable. You just need to rasterize the coins before export.

Now-a-days, the list of "Abandoned Contest" is increasing rapidly. Time for some remedial steps to be taken for the benefit of Contest Holders and Designers. Admins only can help us. Let us hope friends, something good will take place in Contest Section.

I feel like we're being used for our ideas and then they're taking them and making the logo themselves..

I think I just won't sell to new premium members, because new members can't create threads unless they pay for premium, right?

or a more likelihood is that they pretty much just copy and paste our ideas to the client until he likes it, then they use photoshop to edit the image and present it to client. ive seen some websites where my logos were pretty much "bevelled" in photoshop and placed on a colored background. it looks disgusting, but for low end website owners w/o respect, they dont mind

That has happened to me a couple times. Nowadays luckily most hosts have a link somewhere to send dmca takedown notices, just make use of it. Most hosts do take dmca takedown notices seriously, and they act first (take down the web) and ask questions later.

Frikusha has posted a few contests without a declared winner, but at least in this case --> https://forums.digitalpoint.com/thr...est-instant-by-paypal-30-hrs-contest.2629312/ the logo made by puttu (post 12) is being used (with slightly changed colors) in the website http://golldreson.se/

Yup mostly is the case, they are ripping ideas from designers here and design their own for their clients... Admin here need to enforce some rules to help designers. Some of them simply just replied "we have choosen a winner, thanks everyone" but infact none has been choose.

nope but i figured that i dont need to. lets see, a good company with frequent visitors to their site would definitely know that they need a quality image as a logo on their site.. so i figured if the owner was too cheap to afford 15-30 bucks, it would be sad for me to hassle them.

    Hi everyone,

Sorry for late response on this, client had not selected any of the designs from our side. So this thread is closed without a winner.

    AND THOSE WHO WERE TALKING:
I AM A PAID USER HERE, AND HERE FOR JOKE. I WAS NOT THAT's THE REASON I WAS NOT ABLE TO POST ON THREAD. I HAD MANY SUCCESSFUL CONTEST,
AND For my last contest "putt" was the winner, if you want you can conform from him.

I will be posting new contests here, those who are interested are welcome.

That's for replying to us. There's just been a lot of abandoning of contests recently and being gone for so long without a response just makes it seem a bit sketchy.
