Looking For New Payment Processor

Discussion in 'Payment Processing' started by macdonjo, Mar 1, 2013.

So I'm absolutely fed up with PayPal, 2CheckOut and Payoneer, and am now looking for a new payment system.

I've looked at Moneybookers but it doesn't feel proper for accepting multiple sales, as you cannot create a product in the control panel then send the link to customers.

Basically, I want to sell software licenses for all kinds of software ($1000+/month), and the odd website sale ($500-$5,000). I think anything over $5,000 I'll wire to avoid fees.

I'm looking at Payza, Google Checkout, Dwolla, WePay, Plimus. Any advice?

    Hi Macdonjo,

Plimus is a good option for digital goods.

Also look into http://mycommerce.com a digital river company(Publicly Listed) they are pretty well respected and specialize in digital goods. Lots of large businesses and small businesses use them. Hopefully the info will be useful to you.

    Best Regards,
    Brandama

WePay is really good... but they don't allow selling digital products. I personally have been looking at running most of my payments through Stripe, although they are geared more toward developers/integrating into the backend of other software.

Do not use only Google checkout if you want to operate a serious business. Google checkout only accepts credit cards from people who have a Google account, and there are a lot of people who do not use google.Which means customers will need to signup for a Google account to pay, which means you will lose a lot of customers.

Google Checkout is the best alternative to PayPal, in my opinion, however, Liberty Reserve is also a strong contender for the title of the best payment processor in my eyes. It doesn't allow chargebacks or disputes so you never have to worry about customers trying to defraud you out of products or your time.

From our GOOD experience, I'd suggest you to go to 2checkout.com , as they have world's leading credit card processing platform, with one of the best fraud prevention system, standard and recurring payment options, you're able to receive money directly to your MasterCard and withdraw anywhere in the world.

Although they have signup fee $10.99 , here's the promo code to sign-up for FREE - euro2co

    Cheers!

If you're located in Canada or US, you should try Stripe.com out for credit card processing. Should be fine for software provider business. We've been using them for our businesses for several months and their service has always been prompt and payments are on time. Easy to use API also.

You can do this with PayPro Global. With PayPro Dynamic pricing feature you can:

    • Dynamically change the original product price without making changes to the original product's settings.
    • Use dynamic prices for a single product, a product bundle, or a product with a large number of add-ons.
    • Dynamic price information is always sent encrypted, to prevent price tampering.
    • Dynamic prices can be defined in more than one currency simultaneously
Additionally we provide flexible licensing options, you can even integrate your own solution into our system to distribute license keys.

You can request a free demo with no obligations and see how it works. Let me know if you have more questions

    Best of success!
