I don't think that anyone hate SEO......................Those who hate SEO will not survive for long time and there business will not grow. They hate SEO because they don't have patience to grow their business or they got into the wrong SEO hands(black hat companies usually brings result in quick time). SEO requires lot of effort and patience get their site in top in between they have to withstand algorithm updates also!
hey there, Me personally... SEO is a love & hate relationship... I love that it can bring great income, but I hate that I'm at the mercy of google at times lol ... Good things don't last forever, especially in the world of SEO.. Google can do whatever they want at moments notice, and we'd all be screwed the next day lol... That's why I approach SEO as a short term investment... make my money as much as I can... and if google decides to make a radical change... I know that i've at least made some good income. I don't have any attachments to my SEO sites, because my mind set is for short term income. Don't let SEO be your main source of income. Start diversifying, and stay safe! Take Cares!
Mostly the people I have seen hating SEO are those who had spent a short period of time doing SEO for their sites, or paid someone to do it for them but had seen nothing coming out of their efforts or suffered ranking decline and ban. This could be because of working in the wrong direction, using blackhat techniques, less input, impatience to wait for results, etc. The odds are not agains SEO, people have benefited from it, I have benefited from it.
I think many people hate SEO because they do not understand how SEO works for most of them. Lack of knowledge becomes a problem in this field, when people do not know what they are doing. It is because we have to perform many things in the process of search engine optimization manually and that's why newbies mostly hate SEO.
seo needs everday updateion in website if you ingnore this your website is gone from google so many people hate that
As a search engine optimizer i love seo.but some people hate seo becouse it's very long term process and it's very toughest job and seo is very competitive,it's not easy to get succeed.
I think only they people hate to SEO who has no knowledge about this. Those people know seo they dn't hate but only love.
I guess I got lucky when I first started with IM because I learned about SEO and the proper way to use SEO at the beginning. When you stop and think about it, SEO really makes sense. To me SEO on your website is like you talking to someone and you put emphases on your words. When you are talking about something and you want to get your point across you either raise your voice a little or you make sure the person you are talking too understand what keywords you are focusing on. Same with SEO when it is done right. Some people look at SEO as work, but I see it as a way to highlight my main ideas. The search engines are all about "offering value" and if your site is not offering value, no amount of SEO is going to help you.
those people who hate SEO are programmers..in my opinion, they dislike all criteria during the webiste programming which are important for Google
People don't so much hate SEO, but rather hate the people doing it (SEOs/spammers). The fact is, a lot of spammers/black hats/morons/tinfoil hats call themselves an "SEO" or "SEO expert", but have little clue about what SEO is. At times they think it amounts to a spamformula of "meta keywords+stuff your title with as many keywords as possible+copy and paste content from elsewhere+forum signature links spam+blog comments spam+spun article spam+social bookmarking+forum profile spam+fake Twitter/Facebook/whatever social media followers+spam your crap on social media all day+crappy, pointless, spun web 2.0s=Best SEO. Ever." Oh yes, and they did it manually, so they believe it's not spam. News for you: it is! Saying that, I like SEO (and I don't dislike all "SEOs").
The only thing that I dislike about SEO is the fact that page ranking is never certain, one technique might work one day and be deemed irrelevant the very next. But if you do manage to get your site on page 1, then kudos to you.

I don't think anyone hate seo who know well about seo effect. seo is very effective for commercial website. If cliet got not result from seo work for site then obuasily hate
I think people Hate SEO because it is a long process and a continue process to promote the websites. That is why people lack interest in it.
Afoley there are 200+ offices that I see getting close in past one year in just my small town.They are all offering SEO Services.They was forced to quit by PANDA/PENGUIN/EMD/Interflora updates keep coming back and hitting sites with low qualities or using manipulated techniques. They are never going to like it. I shall still say i know many have quit and many will be but this is the only way SEO world can give there clients Quality work and Google gets what it needs."Quality".
