Google Web Masters tool vs. Bing?

Today i just finished exploring the bing Web Masters tool, my impression? Yes very clever. Bing Web Masters tool is a lot greater than google. How?

Bing offers the disavow and they also offer a feature to check the site if it is SEO friendly then will give you information on where you will focus your on page.

Next is the interface. BWM tool is lot better to interface compare to google, you can easily navigate the tool.

Bing also have this feature, the link explorer.

So these are the reasons why I choose bing and see this tool as better compare to google.

Bing launched disavow tool earlier than Google. But Google has it too. I was tried Bing Webmaster Tools in the past but unfortunately it shows statistics only related to Bing search engine when I was needed mostly from Google.

 

it's cool, but Google has more traffic than Bing.

 

I never received any hits from Bing bot (crawler) or didn't receive any traffic from Bing (search). I think nowadays less than 5% internet users use Bing as there default search. So I wonder why would anyone care to optimize his site for Bing?

 

well this case "optimizing site in bing" depends on the products and services a certain site offers. as what you've said you never optimized your site in bing, have you checked your site if it is listed on bing's search result? if no then that's the reason - why you don't get traffic from bing because you're site is not searchable in bing. try to optimized also in bing remember google dominates 70%-80% only. then probably you can also get more less 5% of traffic from bing. so try not to focus only in google since we are called Search Engine Optimization Specialist from the word itself our job was describe "Search Engine" we're talking about search engine not only Google. hope you got my point, nvidura

Google webmaster tools has its own pros and cons, but the Bing webmaster tools are a lot useful than Google webmaster tools. Bing webmaster tools provides very insightful data about your site like its health, traffic, links and blah blah.

 

I am not sure bing or yahoo is a region-dominated search engine. I optimize some australian website now, very few bing or yahoo traffic, but its conversion rate is ok.

 

I prefer Google

If you search the forums for Bing you will find some very recent discussion about how quite a few have found that manually adding pages using their 10 a day individual page submission kickstarts something happening with your site. ​

 

well i tried searching forum in bing and they provide me good and more accurate forum then google.

 

Well, I wanted to use Bing, however it doesn't index my site, a little bit pissed...

havent tried Bing Webmaster Tool...mmm, i think I should give it a try as well and see it by myself
