Anyone making >=$250 a day?

That's not unrealistic either. There are quite a few people doing just that. You may or may not get there though working only a few hours a day.

smart work + luck = success
or
hard work + smart work = success
or
hard work + luck = success

There are numbers of ways to make it.

 

Yep, I know quite a few people who have achieved just that - and not only in the webmaster field.

At the end of the day, retirement has nothing to do with where you live. It has everything to do with what's in your bank account.
How much you need in the bank to retire (or change to 2 hours work per day or whatever) depends on what you set as a standard of living.

Regardless of where you live, it will take hard work to achieve retirement and have a good standard of living.
Luck can play a big part in it, but you can't count on luck.
Working smart - I think this is why we're here on these boards - is all about learning from other people's mistakes as well as your own.

 

I use affiliate programs and make more than $100/day plus my regular salary...my goal is $500/day...that would be nice.

Not true. The business cycle (which i am well aware of) has nothing to do with "crashes". Recessions and crashes are two different things.

 

ozgression: depends on what you're referring to as a crash - Putting things into words isn't my best vocation in life
A crash can mean practically anything, from a sharp fall in share prices, to a sharp down turn in visitors to a shop. You can use the word to mean anything which involves a sharp drop.

 

Man i can't imagine getting that sort of cash from adsense...would be great, really don't want to look for crummy tech support job after finishing college, tis about the best someone with programming degree in ireland can hope for by looks of it.

i was retired at 23 now 25 but will start working again $300 a day aint enough anymore lifestyle demands in asia low cost of living

$250 $500 $1000 $10.000 a day will never be enough where ever you live any amount will never be enough
