How To Post To Twitter

I am a newbie to Twitter and have just created my first account.
I signed in, wrote out a tweet, then pressed the tweet button but my tweet never appears. There is no update button.
I have tried this 3 times now without success. Can somebody tell me where I am going wrong please?

 

Thank you for the reply, but as I mentioned in my post, I do not have an update button.
The box says "what's happening" and the button says "tweet", but when I press that button nothing happens.

 

This is an opportunity of being a member of tweeter social site. You have to write your opinion on tweeter post block and click on update. And add followers to your follow list. Now enjoy with your Tweets.

 

Click on the link at top right that says "me". You may find that your tweet shows up there. Although if you are repeatedly clicking the tweet button and not getting an error message about trying to tweet the same thing more than once, the problem is most likely with your web browser. Try signing out and back in again. Or clearing out the cache on your browser.

 

have you tried compose a new tweet?

 

Have you activated your account? Also check the limit of character you are posting?

 

I have composed a tweet. It's available in the right side of the site.

 

did you activate your account from the mail sent by Twitter?

 

I don't believe someone asking such questions. I think twitter is simple enough to figure out how to post.

 

According to me simply make a tweet type only 140 characters then post it.

 

Usually if you go to your tweets page and refresh it, it should be updated. Samet hing happens to me a lot.

 

Make a account on twitter, have you tried compose a new tweet, according to twitter simply make a tweet type only 140 characters then post it.
