haha..i do understand that..everyone of us do some different tactics. we know what in there for an SEO and we do almost the same thing but we definitely have different ways of doing those things..

 

If i were to sponser your car purchase I would want a link for it, as you hit the big time people might sponser you to get a top link HINT HINT !!

Well, I also have encountered sites using BH but the technique could not be determined by other SEOs.

 

Ok, here are the top secrets that no one shares:
1. Cram your keyword Meta with great terms like "Britney Spears."
2. Put loads of keywords all over your page and make them the same color as the background.
3. Submit to Free for All link farms.
4. Make people believe they are going to one type of site and surprise them with another - this trick really increases conversion.
5. Write copy that reads like this. "If you are a franchise buyer that wants to buy a franchise like a KFC franchise you should look at buying the franchise Jimmy Johns pizza franchise because it's the best franchise opportunity ever."
6. Get as many links from porn sites as you can.

Ok, the above really doesn't work so well. There are few shortcuts. You can learn the basics and more on great forums like this. My biggest secret is to try to create unique and quality sites along with other solid SEO tactics.

Number 3 is easy if that link farmed site is indexed by Google but in number 2, well you must require a large amount of luck so why dont you try to indent it negatively?

 

yea honestly I think that's about right. People write articles about how to write articles to increase your SEO. Is it just me or is this stupid, some one who's taking their own advice and writing an article about increasing your PR, clearly isn't a guru and is relying on something they were taught and learnt.

The real SEO masters definately have their own secrets that probably work within a week's time, most of them probably involve spam and doorway pages though.

 

Well yes... did you guys took a list to the PR9 and PR10 websites lists?! you could easy see there that some websites got less backlinks, with less PR, but they are PR10 ... and I think it's because something else then PR-Passing, i think that .edu links pass more PR... I don't want to say the website name, check it yourself

 

I bet the real gurus do "sell their info" but only fake stuff or common knowledge, and simply use their actual SEO techniques for a self marketing thing.

While getting links from an authoritative and relevant EDU or GOV site that tends not to give out links is very helpful, there is NO special magic or bonus for links from EDU or GOV sites. There are no secrets.... and the search engine changes you see..those are not adjustments to keep SEOs off balance...they are are done to catch the cheats.

The recipe to get to the front page is no different now than 5 years ago.

What has changed is the method Google uses to protect people from circumventing the recipe.

As far as gov & edu links KLB can get them due to his sites niche... however you wont find a link to from Duke.edu to a myspace resource site , a site on imported leather coats, or prom dresses, hairdos etc.....

If links are found on the .edu or .gov sites to unrelated content, they would be filtered and do you no good.
