    Yea, you can definitely get away with just well planned contextual backlinks...

    But here's what I've learned in the last PR Update. One of my websites only had social signals that I bought from fiverr.... 1000+ FB Likes, & 1000+ Retweets.... Keep in mind, these are fiverr bought.

    In google latest PR Update, that simple website jumped to PR-2 lol... It was barely created in December 2012, with only 4 pages. And the only work on it was the fiverr social signal gig.

    Now you tell me, do they have an influence? With that data in mind, they do :)

    He is talking about the scenario that your site is very good and has a lot of useful content so people start sharing your posts on social networks and other webmasters share the posts on their sites with "via" link. Right?

    I just use fiverr.. at this point in time, google can't tell the difference because they don't actually own the websites. I'm sure in the future they will probably fig out a way for authenticity, but right now they can't.

    I agree on the part about over optimization of a particular keyword or a set of keywords. This has been widely practised in SEO circles and caused immense damage as well.
