What Is The Best Way To Find Guest Bloggers For A "how To" Site?

I have a new "how to" site, which is PR4 and gets about 10,000 unique visitors a month. I am receiving some organic requests to write guests posts but I would like to increase this number. What is the best way to solicit guest writers? Thanks for the help!

 

As your site continues to grow and you get more traffic you will also get more requests for guests posts. Do you get a lot of comments? Are there any regular commenters? You can ask those people if they would be interested in guest posting.

Also, you can throw up a post on your site that you're looking for some guest posts. Or simply add a small snippet to the end of each of your articles, essentially like a signature.

 

QuadXNet is making a great point. Many of the mentors I follow recommend searching for guest blogging oppotunities by searching for these phrases:

"Guest Bloggers Wanted"
"Guest Blogging Opportunity"
"Write for Us"

Add one, or more, of those to your pages to get additional bloggers/writers finding you through the search engines. Make sure to include something about your niche/subject near the phrase since they will add their niche to the search, also. You might even want to add a special contact page just for Guest Bloggers to use that you can write some content to entice Google/Bing/Yahoo to send you some more bloggers.

I would say use social media and forums, just like you're doing now. Think about where "experts" would hang out online and get in front of them.

Since yours is a PR4 blog, anyone show their interest to post on your blog and all you do is to filter those people submit crappy article for getting links.
