    Duration will be 0:00 and bounce rate will be 100% if users never go to a second page... you can't measure how long someone stays on the site if they never go to a second page.

    You can take that a step further. If time on the first page is two minutes and time on the second page is 7 minutes, if your visitor leaves the site from page two, the resulting time on site will be 2 minutes (instead of nine) and time on page two at zero.
