I heard that some american secret agency has the ability to remove any stuff from internet. No matter where that is hosted.

    Is it really possible technically?

By thoretically if some kind of news about something are not in many diifferent websites then if 2one and only" website is lost then probably info is not available anymore .

Yea.. That is why no one should flame or abuse on forums, they could be snooping around, all they need is a genuine sounding username and a hot DP ;)

Once on the internet always on the internet, that's why I warn many to NEVER put something online they would not want anyone but a select few to see.

I think search engine and social media listings can be controlled. If they can create fake trending stories at twitter, they can finish something too, up to some extent.

I doubt it... think about it... if celebrities can't even remove their "leaked tapes" from the internet, keep in mind they have millions, then I doubt someone out there can.

Unless, your buddy was someone in Google hahaha, then that's a different story all-together :)

There is a YouTube video that was recently posted that indicates one of the Survivalists was completely deleted from all online databases. There is no concrete information provided and of course the source is an anti-government site.
I would expect that if necessary there may be a way for one of our upper level governmental agencies might be able to accomplish this. I expect it would take a significant effort and with the status of the funding these agencies are experiencing it probably isn't a realistic idea.

If "They" want it removed, I'm sure it can be taken down but if it's some chick that let a picture get out, then there's no chance of it being completely deleted. As long as people can right click and save, there's a chance that it's out there....

So yea and no based on who you are

No,you can't remove anything from the internet. You just can make to be ''invisible'' to everybody, but every letter that you write will stay somewhere.

I used to have a blog. I was 17. I hate my posts there now. So much embarrassing stuff got posted. It was hosted in a ancient blog platform. I tried to delete it but it keeps getting an error. :( So, no. It's not possible to delete something from the internet! Once you post/share something, it's there forever so watch what you post online.

Now, I just keep on wishing that that old blog site will shut down but even tho the site remain outdated up until now, the owners just won't let it die. T.T

Internet is like bacteria... Once the data is on internet it starts multiplying. Even companies like Microsoft cannot remove piracy (you can find windows OS for free on any warez or torrent website) Now technically i ask you is it possible to remove something from internet?

No, they can not. The Internet is not controlled by one country. Also, it takes seonds for someone to download what you have uploaded, and if they want to they could re-upload it to a thousand new places in inutes by using various tools/bots.
