How And Why Page Rank Go Down

I have a website It page rank was 2. Suddenly I Notice current page rank is 1. Plz say how and why the page rank to toward bellow.

check your backlinks may be your backlinks is deleted or disappear.

 

google has recently update pageranks. Your page rank is only down to poor backlinking.

 

You have lost good backlinks for your site or you have placed do follow links on your home page.

 

Your backlinks decreased. PR updated recently

 

That`s becaus Google updates. Lots of websites are in your very same position of losing PR.

 

Your backlinks might not have decreased.
The reason may be that you have given many outgoing dofollow links from your blog. Or maybe the quality of the backlinks to your blog is not good.
These two factors are the most important when you want a good Pagerank.
Work on building some high quality backlink and your PR will increase in the next update.

Remember, 1 high-quality backlink = 100 low-quality backlinks !!!

As many webmaster told and I also say that you have lost some good backlinks that's why your site lost its page rank.

 

By poor quality content and backlink, and also spam indexing.

 

May be its new panda update effect.

 

Poor quality of backlinks and submission in low pr sites also down your site repo !!

 

You may have to continuously work on your site's SEO.

You might have lost some of your backlinks which result into a decrease in PR..

 

i just got page rank 3 within month because last update was near to the month. i share my experience about achieving page that is the relevant backlinks with authority domain and little bit high pr. i just gave very few but low OBL and they were relevant to the site with high authority domain. so you should search relevant comments blog and make a catchy comment related to the blog post and it will get approval definitely. Your ranking will go up in next update.

 

From my experience I can tell you this:

1.PR does "wear down" or its strength goes down after a while... several months, years and even if you have the same links, the end result will weaken
2.that's why you have to constantly get new, quality, related links
3.PR is calculated differently today than before - so don't hoard links for the sake of PR, because if Google sees that you're manipulating the system they will penalize your site
4.PR fluctuates over time anyway, so if the sites that point to you lose PR or, if they add more links or, if Google penalizes them, then it will propagate onto yours
5.PR is less important today than ever before, so I advise you to focus on traffic and conversion, not PR...

And traffic also matters here, if your site was receiving good number of visitors and then visitors are decreasing day by day then it would result in page rank too.

Other thing is when any quality link is removed, it would affect page rank.
