I think the best technique for now is go back to the manual way.specially to what happen a month ago regarding the updates of google that filter all spam articles that's been send by softwares.

 

In the future SEO will not change a lot. In fact it is always the same. If you are in SEO for a long time and you have been a white hat guy than, still in 2013 the rules are almost the same.

3. Good Links
4. Good Bounce Rate

Nowadays, something that it is add in the algorithm is social signals and maybe, this is the only change that we may see.

 

Social Media, Useful and informative content, Diversity in inbound links, diversity in anchor text and keywords..

 

In general, SEO in future will be something like everything except 99% of the SEO people did. No more easy schemas to rank fast

yes content and link building does matter. and try to diversify the links . build links for differwnt keyword phrases. have a mix of both dofollow and nofollow backlinks. keep it morw natural. interact much with your visitors .
