Selling Established Webmaster Forum Alexa 44,069 Pr3

I was the one who offered 1200 USD via PM. Offer was standing for 48 hours, but since the seller told me that there is someone else with more reputation than mine, I withdrew it a day later. However, there must be another 1200 bidder with a better reputation than mine, so I doubt the seller will have issues getting another 1200 USD bid.

 

I just checked out arkant's profile, he signed up yesterday. He shouldn't be allowed to bid yet, what a douche.

 

Well I was thinking of offering above your offer, but withdrew after analyzing.

I cancel my bid. When try to make the payment, my paypal account refuses the transaction. I prefer to cancel, and do not waste time for everyone. I sincerely apologize.

 

It is a shame this thread was tortured like this. This forum has great potential IMHO. If I had the money for such a bid I would in a heartbeat. I sincerely hope the seller can get a fair deal after all.

It is unfortunate that these days people lack honesty and integrity. In this scenario, the trophy points are indeed an accurate reflection of the trustworthiness of a person.

If an offer/bid is made, then in the interests of fairness make sure you have the funds to bid and are able to make payment.

Don't make bids on multiple sites unless you can afford to purchase all sites if you win all bids.

Just because there is another bidder with higher reputation or even a higher bid does not nullify your bid. Until the site is sold officially your bid stands.

If you don't want the site, don't trash the thread. Just walk away nicely. It's quite possible that someone else with more smarts than yourself can see potential in the site that you can't see.

Members who don't abide by these simple rules should be barred from entering the marketplace.

On a lighter note, I've just watched the film Lincoln. Well worth a watch. Now there's a man with values.

 

You haven't won the auction yet, how comes you are trying to make the payment? unless you were going to BIN it?

 

The DP marketplace was a real waste of time. Mods here don't step in to ensure rules are being adhered to. I've listed site at Flippa and it was binned in only a few days:
