    What do you think? I personally think this statement is so overused and misused. Of course you need content to achieve proper SEO and it needs to be excellent content, however, where would you be if you're a new business with no following. Who will share your content if no one can find it?

    Listen... You DO NOT need content to rank a site! PERIOD!

    AS much as Google is trying to DRILL this into everyone's head and make you believe you need content to rank a site, an ecommerce is a great example of NO content needed...lol

    I have ranked several sites without content; newer sites at that, even after the latest updates.

    SEO is King, Content is Queen, but FIRST PAGE RANKINGS ARE THE BOMB!!!!!

    BOOOM!

    ecommerce does have content and plenty of it. Unique product photos, unique descriptions, and sometimes hundreds of them, they do indeed have unique content.

    I'm not saying however that content is better :)

    Both are equally important. Without content, there is no such importance of SEO as every little work based on content and without SEO, content can not do more as it can do with SEO...

    I agree with statement. Content is really king after panda updates and penguine update. Google is trying to give as much as user friendly result to user and focusing more on quality. Content and seo are connected with your online advertising, content helps to rank any website and business over the internet .

    Content is on of the most vital part of SEO. It is not the whole SEO....
    So if content is the king, SEO is the emperor not the queen.
