    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

Competition killer?

    A hypothetical situation:

There's this guy that has a quality site and is making a decent amount of $$ each month with Adsense.

I hate him for that, so I decided to put him out of his business.

So this is what I have done:

    1. Created account on a free hosting site (e.g. Geocities or something like that)
    2. Created and published a spoof gaming or pr0n content for this site (just an example - something that would really be a huge TOS violation)
    3. Copied Adsense code from his site and put it on my freehost site right next to illegal content.
    4. Wrote a angry letter to Google - "Wow guys, I found this site *url here* and now I'm really angry, I was just deciding to advertise with you and now I changed my mind..."

Well, what will happen next?

    (remember, this is hypothetical situation)

Good imagination, I guess AdSense will warn the publisher, or ban him.
If it is so, we are in danger. No matter what kind of website you have, there is competitors.

Google will simply ban the publisher without any warning , however if the publisher is earning $xxxx , google will warn the publisher and once the publisher tell that it is not his website, google will stop displaying any add on that website and deduct the amount which was earned from illegal site

    IMHO..
Google may ban the publisher first and if the publisher manage to explain that its not his site, they may give account back to that publisher.

What if you sent a letter to adsense support and said "these are the ads sites I'm dispaying ads on, let me know if you detect ads on any other sites"?
