I have seen people do it before, but this was quite some time ago. I want to know in detail how i block either everyone or just individual people from commenting on my posts while still being friends

There is no way to keep people from commenting, but you can make your status restricted to certain people.

    1. Go to "Settings" in the upper-right hand corner

    2. Click on "Privacy"

    3. "Click on "Profile"

    4. The fourth box says "Status Updates." Go to "Customize" and choose who you want to see it.

you cant unless you disable the post one by one after they post it.. unless you make the post private and accesible to certain friends only.. they can still comment on it though

On WordPress site, give a option commenting approve/disapprove. If you not allow comment of any member, then disapprove to it. or you can search plugin and or take a help of Google.

While in Facebook you can go to your settings and under "Blocking" you can manually add the names of individuals you do not want to be able to interact with your posts. There are a number of options, Restricted List, Block Users, Block Messages, Block app invites, Block event invites, Block apps, and Block pages. So there's a lot of customization you can do. Hopefully this helps.... :D
