In case you have missed it, 1and1.com is offering .com and .info domains for only .99$ and the best thing is that you can register upto 5 domains at this cheap price!

Please note that this price is only for the first year [IMG]

about few weeks back they sent me invoice,to pay for a domain that i already paid!
for 2012 and 2013 ,and i was like "what?!" i paid for 2012,not what... so i cancel subscription at paypal, and sent them a friendly email...o boy, they don't care, the bad part about them also that they don't have "real time chat support" that is really bad for a company like them...is i don't have all day to by on the phone... i will never buy from them again, and will move all my domains somewhere else before they expire...

Although I was hooked on the price at the time when they offered the .99 cent deal I found their other services a headache. I sold the domain to someone else who gave me extra to transfer the domain to another registar in which it would also give an additional year. They refused at 1st to allow the transfer to another client and then refused to transfer to another registar. Eventually after 2 weeks of emails and phone calls the domain was sent to the registar of my choice. Months later they sent me an email stating that I need to renew the domain name even when the domain was no longer with them.

So overall great price. Just be sure to stay with them forever.

Why register at 1and1.com? Their services or something else must be lousy otherwise they won't offer so cheap.

And if your project is worth the time and effort you are going to put into it, then surely it's worth registering through a decent company.

I don't want to register domain names from unsafe place, it is better to register with Godaddy, I would say.
