    I want to create a news sitemap for my website punjabnewsline.com and it is having more than 1000 pages and can you tell me how can i create sitemap more than 1 news sitemap.

    Are you using WordPress as your content management system? Looks like it due to your permalinks and categorizing but if not then give the site above a try. If you are using WordPress there are several great plugins you can use to get a complete site map of 1000+ pages.

    Well, A1SG can... But first you have to be accepted as a news publisher by Google. Also have in mind that news sitemaps should also only contain very recent news articles.

    If you are using Wordpress web builder then install Google XML Sitemaps plugin. This plugin will automatically adjust your sitemap.

    If you used Wordpress for your website, then there are lots of various sitemap plug-in...but I really like this one :

    wp-realtime-sitemap

    Very easy to setup:
    1. download software from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-realtime-sitemap/
    2. unzip the file and upload into /wp-content/plugins/wp-realtime-sitemap directory
    3. go to the wordpress admin panel and active this plug-in go through 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
    4. create a new page named "Sitemap"
    5. write this [wp-realtime-sitemap] into the post box of this (sitemap) page and publish


    Done and enjoy !!!

    If you are looking for xml sitemap then there are good sites those are creating xml sitemap for your site without any payment. You just need to write your website url and it will automatically make xml sitemap for you. These types of site easily cover over 1000 pages of a website.

    You should create 3 versions of sitemap i.e. XML, HTML & TXT for good SEO results.
    You can generate xml version sitemap through online xml sitemap generator. For txt sitemap, just add all the important links in a notepad line after line and save it as urllist.txt. For HTML sitemap, you should contact HTML designers and let them know all the important pages of your website.

    Once all the sitemap complete, upload them in the root folder of your hosting server and submit the links of all 3 sitemaps in Google Webmaster Tools.

    If you have only 1000 URLs 1 sitemap would be enough, no need to split it to several. I use www.xml-sitemaps.com online tool to generate sitemaps for small sites. Or you can download their free tool if you have +500 URLS...
