What Does Everyone Think Of The New Digital Point Forum?

I registered on digitalpoint only recently, soon after i started posting, the new design appeared so i didn't get too used to the old one, but anyway it seemed a bit confusing to navigate around at first, but now i almost accustomed to it.

 

I really like the new design. Its quite intuitive. I like the font and the green colored interface. I didn't realize when it metamorphosed from alpha to beta. The itrader has system has been completely done away with. Its good I think because I could find many users just exchanging itrader without selling anything. That thing had to be brought under control and its done now. Suddenly I can find people talking good. May be they are working their way towards earning likes

 

I'm not a big fan. `If it ain't broke, don't fix it`

 

When I first logged in i was kind of confused. Now i am starting to get the hang of it. The layout looks a lot more modern as well! cool!

 

Shouldnt a thread asking for feedback about the site be in...the feedback forum ?

 

This thread wasn't started by the sites owner asking us for feedback, it's a member asking other members if they like the new DP...

 

I had actually stopped visiting Digital Point as much as I used to just a few months ago.
But now, seeing these changes, and real quality getting pushed up gives me an incentive to return daily once again.
Also, I disliked the fact that almost anyone could post a sales thread without verifying at least one domain. Now, the number of threads may have gone down but at least only sellers who own the domains can post threads.
I am pretty certain that users like me who have always posted quality stuff will benefit a lot from these changes.

 

Same here... I've been gone for awhile and was surprised to see the new look, well it's really awesome, I like it a lot, but was sad to see my iTraders are gone, and now I have to earn 3 likes for me to become an established member and to be able to post again. It's like I have to start all over again. Anyway, the change is good, actually... it's better, loving the design, they did an amazing job!

 

Please go back and reread @Arunrajvs post (post #103) where he writes about itraders. You see it *was* broken and needed fixing and it has been.
Yes we do have a few complaining about the likes......almost as many as we had complaining about the old itrader system.

 

This is not about iTrader, it's about the new design. I don't care for iTraders, actually I think the new `like system` is way more better than that because it contributes to the quality of the forums.

 

Here we are on the same page, we have consensus.

 

It has been a while since I have visited the forum. I am pleased with the new layout. I think it will be good for the users.

 

Frankly, I like the new look very much. Previously, I didn't care much about exploring other sections of the forum except content creation. However, the new look has made me explore other areas as well and getting chance to interact with others.

I like the new 'Spy' section under Forums. The old interface was kinda boring. I don't even know whether the Spy section was there or not in the old interface. Spy is quite interesting. Grrr... my bad.. all I can say is old interface did not encourage me to go other places

 

I like the new one because many new features are there in new design. And best one is instant alert on recent thread post.

 

Wow ! Coming here after a long time. The new DP looks snazzy and hopefully clean . Taking it out for a test drive. Nice to see you all folks.

 

So I just noticed the new design as I unfortunately am not a very big contributor to this board, other than paying for contests, and it looks like I can no longer do that as I am not considered a "established user"... I guess I'll have to figure out a new place to spend money on. Saddens me.
