Google Crawl Old Site..help Plz

Hi all,

Recently i remove all the content on my old site and build a fresh one. I follow google webmaster rule and submit all the info...sitemap..etc. Somehow Google still crawl on the old content and the new content i add (every day) never get index.

any help would be very appreciate

Do you have 301 redirects for all the old content? It is natural for it to take a while for Google to purge old content. To speed up the process I recommend you build some strong links to show Google that your pages are relevant. Some social signals such as tweets and likes might help too.

 

Google can't crawl content that is not there. This does not make sense.

 

No i didn't redirect because i clean out the database and start a new one.

I check google webmaster tool and its show google crawl my site yesterday and get some errors. I look through the errors and look like it from the old site. not sure why...

 

Submit your site to google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url to tell Google to crawl your site.

 

Hopefully after this your site will get crawled.
