    i have a website which gets traffic from only india and only few from other countries. i get 1000 page views daily. now what should i do to get traffic from US, UK and Australia countries.

    - Submit website to local search engines
    - Add your website to local directories
    - Get listed on local listings like Google maps, Yahoo! local search etc
    - Get listed on local classified websites
    - Get backlinks from target country
    - Get active on niche related communities which are popular in your country
    -Choose keywords for your site, for certain countries.
    - Get citations for your listings
    *I use Semrush for selecting keywords for my site.By the way it has a base for USA, Europe, UK and Australia

    What your website is about? if you only want to target certain country or countries, then you can adjust this in Google webmaster tools.

    Build the local free backlinks from US & UK and track the keywords ranking from google.com & google.co.uk.

    You can use Google webmaster tool to setup your target traffic country, then you can buy another domain .co.uk and create another website to target traffic...

    If your website is currently a .co.in or .in then it wouldn't hurt to get a .com for the US traffic..For UK you would probably want to look at getting a .co.uk domain. Also, as jakomo just said - you can specify the main country from inside Webmaster Tools..However, if you do this for your current site then you may notice a decrease in IN traffic.
