Notice to Mods: This is the most appropriate forum I found for this question. Please do not penalize me if it's not. Thanks.

    Hello All,

So I have seen around people selling blog posts on High PR blogs for various amount of money. How can I sell blog posts on my own site if I'm the one who writes it? Please explain to me how this whole thing works.

Edit: How does it benefit the buyer when he/she buys a Post on my site and I write it as well?

    Thanks.

You should make money on writing and posting the blog post to your blog, they benefit from a backlink and advertising. Most people however, won't seal a deal unless you have a PR1+ on your website.

If you want to sell your writing, you need to market youself in "seen blogs" that accept your work. And you can have your website being seen for the services provided.

I don't have the idea on selling blog post. All I do is make blogs to post for my client for a good rate of course.

Most of us are not selling blog posts, as well. I personally think its just a waste of time, unless your freelancing your work.

    It goes like this:

    Start:

    1. Somebody send you an article (probably with 2-3 back links in the article).
    2. You will post it on your blog.
    3. He will send you $5-$10 on your PayPal account.

    END.

If your blog is popular and have high PR, there will be a lot of businesses which will like to have a back link from your blog.

Link Building with blog posts is the best way.
The better one is if blog or web site owners allow you to have home page link from their web sites for free...

Unfortunately, buying links catch up to you, so its actually not worth the time.

There are different sites where you can sell your blogs on.

Some of the more prominent examples (which I've had experiences with) would be Linkworth or Teliad, not from a sellers perspective though. I do know that Teliad is very tough when it comes to quality, a former colleague tried to offer his blog on the page but got rejected.

How much activity (or PR ranking) would it take for a $10 charge?

    - If you have PR3+, DA30+ and it is nice blog (good looking - this is important too), probably you can ask $10 for a blog post. If you need to write the post then $15 is a fair price.
    - If you have PR4+, DA35+ and it is nice blog (good looking - this is important too), probably you can ask $15-20 for a blog post. If you need to write the post then $20-25 is a fair price.
    - If you have PR5+, DA50+ and it is nice blog (good looking - this is important too), probably you can ask $30 for a blog post. If you need to write the post then $35 is a fair price.

The stated prices above are very low. You can get much more for a blog, this of course doesn't only refer to the various parameters you the site has.

A blog can be of very high value and I know of people who pay a lot of cash if the site not only has good parameters (like domain popularity, age of page, hosting country, even the speed of the site, etc.) but also has content relevancy, which is THE most important factor when considering if buying or selling blog posts.
