First thing, set up social media accounts at important websites like Twitter, Facebook and whatever other social media websites you like. Try linkbaiting (writing about topics like controversy or referencing influencers or something) to see if you can get a lot of interest in some posts, and make connections with other tech bloggers so that you can email them every now and then if you have a good post in the future that they might link to, and guest blogging on other tech sites.

I would start focusing more on driving traffic than writing content. Honestly -- there are some real experts in this field who have amazing blogs and are masters at traffic especially social media. You could do with the guidance of such people because they have done it and you're not getting just theory. Allow me to point you to some of thee people who if you follow what they say -- could be game changer for you

Socialtriggers dot com (this is the one I'd read first)

    Hi,
It may be the reason is the good content. Writing quality content is important to gain more visitors to the blog. Added to that content should be informative and content is relevant to your topic. After the blog publish, you have to share the link into different blogging sites and social media. So that you can increase the traffic .

For blogs: SEO, Social Media and Guest Posting are you most viable options for driving traffic.

All the best content in the world won't mean a thing if no one finds it. Sorry.

Also consider a bit of static text on your home page, a little about yourself and a good meta description too... You have to try make yourself a brand that your readers will trust, not another also-ran...
