    There are so many ways to drive traffic to a website. But what is important is to find out where your target market spends their time. Once that is done you can use a combination of the following:

    Video Marketing: creating and uploading your video to video sharing sites like YouTube, Dailymotion.

    Guest Posting: writing articles related to your niche and finding related websites to submit your articles.

    Article Marketing: writing articles and submitting them to article directories like EzineArticles, Articlebase etc.

    Social Media Marketing: creating accounts on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube etc. With social media you need to share engaging and fun content.

    SEO: ranking in search engines like Google, Bing.

    Offline Marketing like creating flyers.

    Forum Marketing: finding forums related to your niche.

    Press Releases: writing press releases and submitting them to press release sites like prweb.

    But I think the most important is your sites has usuful imformationm,desert to scan and the return the secound time and more... What's more,the user experience of your site must be goog!!

    I agree with Jim4767 but the op only asked how to get large amount of visitors, not care about the bounce rate I guess.
