why my website doesn't ranked by alexa?

i created a website with WordPress and post 10+ article in period of two month, but alexa doesn't rank my website. i tried to change my theme, URL and other related things and submit my website URL manually to alexa dashboard, while i have amount of 200 page view in a day but its still not ranked.

how much old is ur website ?
alexa need some time (might be 3 months if not much user come to ur website) to show some result, if ur site have result.

i start with 15,000,000 alexa, which is now 350,000 in 3-5 months of hard work

 

you must have some visitors

 

If you don't have some visitor then how alexa ranked you ? You need some visitor and also need some time , It can be 2-3 months .

 

You should remember that there are millions of websites in the world today, and many are still being added everyday. Competition is very tough. Rather than focusing on Alexa rank, I think it's better if you give your attention first on how to increase traffic on your site, and in improving its quality.

You may increase your google rank at first and get more pageviews. My blog has about three hundred visitors every day, but Alex has not ranked my blog.

 

Don't sit and focus solely on Alexa..It can take a while for your initial Alexa ranking to hit and it can even move a little slow after that..Just focus on building your traffic and Alexa will just grow on it's own..Don't check it everyday. For Alexa you should be checking it maybe once a month if your site is pretty big..Otherwise, I wouldn't even worry about checking it for 2-3 months at a time.

 

Generally alexa take some time to get ranking .but i suggest some thing.

You must have to Promote your site at social site like Facebook ,Twitter and Linkedin .

SMO is very helpful to get good Alexa ranking.

 

maybe you dont use high-quality information on your site. i suggest you Create a content that users want and will share with others. that will help

 

How consistently working on your website? You must leave quality comments on websites with good pr.

Don't give up...just keep working hard and keep doing quality work..I am a content writer and I understand that good content is always helpful in getting good ranking.....

 

You can drop your alexa rank instantly by using alexa toolbar. Thats how i dropped my site's alexa rank to less than 100k.

 

Alexa collect their data only from those user who install alexa toolbar in browser.

So for example, if any blog get 1000 traffic and and 90% of its visitor alexa toolbar in their browser then this blog's alexa ranging will be better than other blog which get 5000 visitor (10% using alext toolbar)

 

Swarup makes a good point, because the ranking it based on who uses the Alexa toolbar, the ranking is not all that accurate on lesser known sites - it's inconsistent.

 

Our website used to be ranked 16,000,000 on Alexa and now it's disappeared completely. We'd love to know how you guys get your sites right up there.

When we launched the website in January, we got a sudden interest, mainly because of videos on YouTube. Around about the summer, we were ranked at our highest, at 16,000,000.

We stayed around that point for a few months but then steadily went down, averaging around 24,000,000, and now NOTHING. Last time we were ranked on Alexa was about early October 2013.

We're addressing the reason why. We were told Google doesn't pick up on html tags any more but on key words on the index page. We're now changing that. But apparently you cannot go overboard as Google penalizes the website and sometimes bans it from Google.

That's what we have been told.
