Site For Buying/selling Sites Or Domains

Discussion in 'Domain Names' started by Dr_Michael, Jan 29, 2013.

The most sites for buying/selling sites or domains are mainly forums. Is there any other site with the same purpose but not being a forum? Something like classifieds or else.
    Thank you!

Means you need sites using which you can earn money. Right? If yes then I can sell you some casino gambling sites where you can sell space for advertisement (Paid Links). If interested then contact me

The only site worth using for selling & buying websites and domains is Flippa. They have relatively low fee costs, and they are also very secure, as well as being the biggest online marketplace for legitimate website and domain name sales.

You really only need one since they generally do not allow you to list on other sites (you run into problems if two different users buy the same domain on different sites).

    Thank you for the info!
However I see that Flippa requires payment in order to post your ad. I wonder if there is any free one.

Sedo and Afternic are two popular sites for listing the domains. And if you are with godaddy, then you may also want to try godaddy premium listing/godaddy auction.

For sites with content, if you do not prefer going for an individual domain broker, then I don't think Flippa has any competitor anywhere near it, though there are many sites for the purpose out there. That being said, even Flippa fails to deliver with the regular listing. You need to go for homepage listing for better results.

It's relatively simple actually. Sites like Flippa need to make money and thus they offer a marketplace where they can connect webmasters who want to sell their sites and buyers who are looking for new sites. The more serious you are about selling your site and the more confident you are that it's worth what you're asking, the more likely you would be willing to pay for an additional "investment" by investing in the Flippa service, which in turn will gain your site listing a lot more exposure and quite possibly more bids and an increased chance of a sale. :)
