HI, Most people don't use twitter correctly..
This is a biggy. Most business owners go out on Twitter, and just start advertising their products, to their followers. I have personally made this mistake too. However, think about it...just like any marketing technique, you need to pre-sell your prospects and gain their trust

 

There are direct and indirect ways of making money through Twitter. Of course, getting a job in the Twitter HQ is a different story but don't expect that you can earn much if you only have a few followers. Some say that it's best to wait until you have more than 10k followers but that totally depends upon the rate or ratio of your active - inactive followers. For starters, you can try myLikes (I think they have $2 of minimum cashout), Magpie, ChurpChurp, Adly, etc.

could anyone that as used these methods give a idea what sort of money can be really earned with these sites?

 

My best week on Mylikes has been $450, I find it very hit & miss though as my Twitter accounts are niche targeted and they only have suitable adverts for my followers some of the time. After earning that $450 I didn't make another dime for the following fortnight as there was nothing suitable to post.

I have three accounts with 15-20k followers that make me a consistent $20 per week with ChaCha Affiliates. They only payout $0.02 per click & pay absolute peanuts for non-US traffic, but if your account is in the right niche the links are extremely relevant & can be posted freely without upsetting your followers.
