Need Server Security Setup for VPS

    Hi
    We've just recently purchased Godaddy VPS and no server security has been taken care of. We'd like someone to take care of this security and setup the whole stuff for me.

    Whenever I install wordpress from softaculous , hackers attack on my server and send thousands of email..

    Please PM me what can you do about this and cost for same

    P.s. I haven't done nothing about security, on server.. I setted up the server and not the godaddy guys

    Could you please confirm the OS and control panel installed on the server ? Also, confirm if any additional softwares are installed on the server.

    seolove, do you have an example of the email sent by your attackers? What plugins and themes do you install into Wordpress, and is Wordpress the latest version?

    As you have installed wordpress,then you will need to check with the script vendor to see if they are of the latest version/ upgraded version, patch or updates available and imply them to your scripts.

    You need to secure both vps and wordpress, two different measures that you need to take care.
    try google "securing vps" or "secure wordpress" you will find a lot of information.

    Softaculous has nothing to do with hacks. Try securing your vps and wp install properly.
