Yahoo Answering Helps In Increasing Page Rank On Google Or Yahoo?

I have a question, Yahoo answering helps in increasing page rank in Yahoo or Google? What do you think?

Yahoo answers are very popular among people. Many people take help of yahoo questions and answers to solve their queries. So yahoo answering has a lot of traffic everyday. Backlink from yahoo answering can improve your websites traffic and hence it will definitely improve pagerank of your website in google and yahoo.

 

Yes, Yahoo answer is like forum discussion where people can get there queries answered, and it helps to increase the traffic to there sites. But I don't think it increase Page Rank.
Have anyone any idea regarding this?

 

This may only bring traffic to your site but those links are no follow links which are not considered as backlinks. So does not add any value to increase your PR.

 

Yup people believe yahoo answers as they have belief on forum discussions. Lot of traffic has been driven from yahoo answers. But we do not get any backlinks from yahoo answers because the links are all no follow links. Just an awareness is created through yahoo answers on particular product.

sorry i dont understand the above term no follow links. How does google determine what links count as back links?

 

It can provide you direct traffic on to your site.

Well I don't know if it does create backlinks for you, but some of the pages do get indexed in Bing and Yahoo. When I comment in Yahoo Answers and then checked the indexed pages, I can actually see the answers I have made and the URL I have left there appears in the search description.

Its do give se0 weight to both search engine but ofcourse it will bring more big influence in yahoo.

Yes may be but that's why I mentioned it's "always debatable" when it comes to PR by having do follow back links with link juice your website pages will get a PR and by getting traffic to your web pages there is a chance that some pages might be ranked well on Google.
