Hi to the great people of DP, I have one inquiry. I noticed that sometimes my subscribed threads are not notifying/alerting me for every new replies being posted. Or sometimes the alerts are sporadic, will alert now then it may take a few days again to alert my account, even if the thread is active. I realized this today after checking a thread I subscribed that already had more than 5 replies, but received no notifications on them. Are there system delays on this feature?. Thanks..
You might want to check your preferences regarding alerts. See https://forums.digitalpoint.com/account/alert-preferences. I know I opted out of some alerts. Could you have done the same? I confess I have not followed the alerts sufficiently well to know if there have been any lags.
Hi Shannon, Thank you for your quick reply. I have in fact have all the options checked. But I noticed one thing though on the alert notices when I receive them, it says, "There may be more post after this". Perhaps, alert only comes after a few replies, not for every reply. I wish though it is for every reply.
It's only for the first reply. Once you read the thread, it will give you another alert, but it's not every reply unless you read every reply.
