A massive amount of traffic really hit the site. I was trying to upload a few photos that weren't even a couple of Mb large. ETA was like an hour.

But hopefully it won't go down anytime soon.

 

Why is this thread in General Chat section?

It would of been nice if you posted the story about the site.

im glad, megaupload would store my files for years no matter what

the register button doesnt do anything for me, anyone have this problem

 

Kudos for him, he has a lot of nerve to fight back and start a new improved megaupload. I thought the site will be released to me.ga . Anyway great news!

Yep, I tried to register as a free member on there on three separate occasions and the site just hung when I submitted my details. I guessed that I was just unlucky to try it when it was being overwhelmed but it sounds like others have had the same problem.

 

I have noticed about the news of the launch, I think this site will become as big as Megaupload.

The site seems alright but it is really slow.

 

Just registered everything is working fine except uploading a new file, takes a while

 

I read no their twitter feed not to use hotmail for registering because the activation email never gets received. Noted that Gmail works.

 

Finaly some good news, I hope they won't make it "disappear" again.

Many experts have said that the encryption he's using is not secure enough... like he would give a shit about it

 

Give it a few months, it'll be offline soon. The law shut his first site down, do you really think they will keep this one on? Come on...
