I just tested it with Opera and it seems to be working fine. Are you using one of the Opera versions that is proxied through Opera's servers or something? Maybe they are having issues right now...
Would be taking the time to get used to the things around here, but right now I'm still confused. But I'm sure a lot of thought was put to this new system, so maybe it is better and I just don't understand it yet. Anyways I'm not a quitter, I'll figure this out. lol
I really don't like the new design... From HCI point of view it's really BAD. Too much confusing and cluttered and taking much more time in learning the functionality as compared to the previous one.
TEST - Been trying to post for several days now!!! Every time I try to post all I get are these errors that it cannot post to dirialpoint.com, note the R More errors. Another - btw, you cannot upload multiple attachments. This one is new! In answer to Shawn's questions... (I cannot seem to quote your reply for some reason.) Keeps complaining about digiralpoint (R) If you are asking if we are doing something to the cache's ttl, then NO. Non-authoritative answer: Name: digiralpoint.com Address: 199.59.243.119 Non-authoritative answer: Name: digitalpoint.com Address: 216.9.35.56 BTW, I got this message when I was re-logging back into the updated forums.. It has asked me for a new user/pass/login or something to that affect. Could not remember it so I got a link emailed to me to reset it. Have not seen it since. Getting a lot of other errors trying to reply though. Maybe that "DIGIRALPOINT.COM" "R" has something to do with it?
Ah... the issue is that you are trying to come in on digitalpoint.com, rather than a proper sub-domain (the root domain never had anything valid on it). Totally forgot about the root domain since it was never used for anything (ever). I just updated it's DNS.
its awesome and the best part is now more like an interactive community system and less like a forum. loads of new buttons and features adds on to the community experience like rewards, trophies, answers etc..
Welllllll ... obviously I am in the minority. I *STRONGLY DISLIKE* the new dp. I'm on dp mainly buying sites or domains ... and the new marketplace is "information overload". It is no longer easy to scan for something interesting.
You should be able to just filter down exactly what you want... For example, sites under $100 that are at least a year old and the seller verified ownership of the domain... https://marketplace.digitalpoint.com/sites?price_high=100&age=12&verified=1
Is it possible to append the posting date to that query so that we can, for example, only get listings back that have been created within the past 60 days to avoid getting results back that include 'zombie' listings that date back several years?
Probably... The users that tend to use Alexa are low quality users, and the whole point is to get rid of those users. As far as *actual* traffic, it's up... Inlcuding 10% more US traffic right off the bat.
New look is great, because it loads fast, unique features and many other things.. Love digital forums :-*
From time to time I checked digitalpoint without signing up. After the xenforo conversion I felt that dp was somehow more appealing so I registered, today.
First time logging on in the last 3 years... feel a bit confused but that's to be expected. I'd really like to change my signature though, no idea how.
To be honest I liked it more before.I am facing so many issues now.I can't edit my signiture, just can't access it,dont know from where, and also can't start threads in some forums where I have complete rights to do it.And also I am just a Member now with 300+ posts..
