What are generic keywords??

Hi friends,
I want to know about generic keywords. What are generic keywords and what is their function ?

 

generic keywords are like 'Internet marketing'. Long tail keywords are like 'how to get more backlinks for SEO'

 

Not sure, why you want to focus on generic words, but e.g "marketing" is a generic keyword.

 

Generic keyword are htose keyword which are similar to our website.This keywords are high traffic and compititive.

 

Generic keywords encompass a broad range of subtopic - They have very high search traffic, and as a result are extremely competitive. An example of a generic keyword would be "weight loss", whereas a specific keyword would be "can you lose chest fat by working out?".

 

Generic keywords are those you don't care about, or, are not associated with your site...but,
the more GENERIC keywords are: "Click Here", "Click this Website", "Check it Out Here" and so-on.

Generic keywords are searchable or identifiable words that have meanings that have a relatively wide scope. Generic keywords tend to produce a relatively large number of matches and tend to have a higher cost. Generic keywords can have a much lower conversion rate due to their wide scope of meaning.

 

Generic keywords cover a large range of areas in searching. Such as the keyword 'forum', it is a common keyword that is a wide search that does not really narrow down anything. I would personally try and steer clear from generic keywords.

Generic keyword means related to topic and there is no any providing additional information.
Example:-
Suppose you website depends on real-estate property so you choose keyword “real-estate”, “real estate property” so that is generic keyword.

 

Generic keywords are those keywords which are most commonly used. Generally these types of keywords have high competition and traffic.

 

Generic keywords are theme related and very competitive keywords.

These are the keywords which are very apt to your work and also the most used one. Its difficult to identify, but once you got means then its very useful.
