    I have an e-commerce site. Just want to know that does adding domain name in keywords helps in better ranking in google? And Is it important to add canonical url for an E-commerce website. Does it effects in SEO. How to add it?

    * URL canonicalization is technique of declaring the best url when you have multiple choices for the same page.

    * And it is always good to have static urls with keywords in it.

    Add canonical link tags to all pages, not redirect a group of pages. AFAIK it's fine to use relative canonicals.

    Adding domain name in keywords won't help you to get high in rankings. Canonical URL denotes the redirection of your website whether is given www or non-www. So there is no need of adding it in every pages of your website. If you want to give Canonical URL redirection to your homepage, you can give it through Google Webmasters Tool.

    As much as I love keyword rich domain names once you have done the work on another domain and its ranking high then the best way to go is keep working on the current one.
    More links should push it up a spot!

    It don't think so that the EMD is necessary nowadays as most of the search engine look on the quality of your content and the quality of back links to your website!
