Meta Description of my site was not indexed by google

    My Website name is http://www.mensusa.wordpress.com/. Title of my site is 'Mensusa' and the tagline is 'Mensusa is a large online shop for men'., But when i searched my site in google search engine, It's only showing the title and not showing the description. Instead of description it's showing my last updated post.:confused: I don't know why it is not displaying the description.:confused: Can any one please help me by answer this question?

    Search your site by any keyword and you will see your site both title and description.

    Guess you could have updated your meta tag recently. Give google some time to cache & index your updates. Also make sure that you are not updating the meta tags often.

    You have to write proper description about Meta Tag with appropriate paragraph. You should not create Meta Tag only keyword. I think this is your problem.

    As it is a FREE WordPress Blog, you cannot give a dedicated Meta Description Tag for your homepage. Your Tagline can only be shown on your website just below your title.

    At first see the Meta keyword and discription, if there is any problem then resolve it, try to write correct discription in discription box.

    A correct meta tag can promote your website , but wrong meta can decrease the site search in search engine.
