Move wordpress to new hosting acct - ftp wp-content

    How do I determine the size of a directory on a Godaddy linux hosting acct? I FTP'd down a wp-content directory, the size was huge: Windows Explorer reports : 5,464 Files, 170 Folders, I left Filezilla running and went to sleep... now I need to know if what I downloaded was the entire contents of that dir. Is there a means of discovering the properties of a dir in linux? Filezilla did not reveal this, perhaps Godaddy Filemanager?

    When to transfer multiple files, what I usually do is I compress all the files and folders into a .zip file and transfer the it to the new server. Then in the new server I just extract it. Done!
