I think blogging is the right way to be successful in 2013 as internet marketer. Guest posting, blogging on web 2.o websites, free blogs, website blogs and then the promotion of these blogs or articles will help a lot in SEO field.

 

Get quality relevant back links and beware of spamming just to get more back links. That will do more harm than good.

 

All old seo techniques still working, but now use it in natural way. stop the spamming and never try to put racipocal or paid link. so follow search engine guidelines and make your link building process more effective.

Consider Flickr as one of the most popular or Picasa because it’s owned by the big-dog in search Google. Or check out the newest addition in the photo sharing world Pinterest! I wouldnt bother with social links, unless you know how to do it correctly. But, thats just me, I`d stick with building "content links".

 

For long term: guest posting, buying good quality expired domains and making real sites on them to link to your money site,

For short term: spammy links to internal pages of your site not using your main keyword. Seems odd but this really does seem to be working right not, but don't expect your site to last more than a few months doing this.

These day's have to think so much before working on any sites - because quality always prefers by google, so I think in 2013 - most working - guest blogging, social media, videos, ppt & good content, quality and unique. Right?
