Targeted Traffic

My blog currently receives about 15-30 unique visits a day. I'm trying to increase that number. My blog is about finance/investing, so were is the best to share it? I want new visitors that are interested in finance/investing. Any aggregators that would be good for a finance blog?

 

If you have good content, you need post in forum catered to your niche..

You'll also get some traffic from Yahoo answers..
Just create an account and leave some qualified answers with your link as the reference.

 

If you have other domains in that niche, you can re-direct traffic possibly

 

Properly marketing a blog is much different than marketing a website. You should spend time networking with other finance bloggers and find ways to leverage their traffic. Getting a guest post on their blogs can help a lot. Or you can focus on social media and find ways to get mentioned on social media by popular finance blogs. I have a finance blog myself and it look a lot of work to get it established.

 

Try backpage in the biz opps section. You may get some following there.

 

Perhaps you could try some guest blogging with financial blogs or submit articles for financial ezines.

It might be worth approaching some finance/investing sites to see if they would be happy to spread some of your content and maybe get a link in there.

The best way to influence people is to get engage in other website of your niche. Comment on forums,social bookmarking, social media and blogs. See where your target audience is going and try to make them aware about your blog.

 

Search groups which related to finance niche on Facebook, Yahoo, Google Plus then join them. And also offer guest blogging to bloggers who have finance blogs that has high traffic.

ANother thing to try is Yahoo Answers, Quora and search Google for the keywords "Question and Answer Sites". Another great thing to look into is gruest posting. When you guest post, make sure you pick quality sites to guest post and use tools like Open Site Explorer to make sure it is a quality site. You can also create youtube videos and maybe sign up for an account at Wistia so you can host the videos at your web site because if you do that then Google will pull up the video from your site instead of pulling up the video at youtube and you can draw more people to your site. Another great thing maybe to start an affiliate program and get other people to promote your site and pay them for the leads and sales they send. Also you should find out where your customers are hanging out by using tools like Google Ad Planner and then going and getting involved in those communities.
