    Hii stefanhellzone,

In the google adwards tool, check your keywords competition. If your keyword competition is high it means your keyword is very hard to rank good in search engines on the other hand if your keyword competition is medium or low your keyword is easy to rank good in search engines. Generally broad head keywords are very difficult to rank good. Long tail keywords are easy to rank good in search engines.

Ignore the replies above. The competition field in the Google AdWords keyword tool refers to the PPC competition. It is true that the organic search competition level is often very similar as the PPC competition level, but that isn't always the case. You should be analyzing the top 5-10 results for those keywords. Check how many backlinks those pages have. Check if the exact keyword is in their title, description or url. Check the PR of those domains too. Also think about whether you can build a resource that is better than those pages.

Seems to be a recurring trend on DP. Why can't people talk only when they actually know what they are talking about.

Ranking on a keyword is never so easy a job. Keywords which have a good number of searches but face less competition are relatively easy to rank on.

It all depends upon your keywords . Your keywords should have been a low completion and high global and local monthly search . so use always keywords has low competition and high searches in google search engine. you get good results if you do this strategy .

The best method of checking competition of a keyword is analyzing top ten sites in Google SERP.

Also, try to search in "" like "your keyword" if there is less than 20,000 result it means it is low competitive keyword.

You can use free tools like Traffic Travis to check on the strength of urls ranking first page results. If average page rank is above 3 and median backlink for page is over 1k, I tend to ignore the kw lest it will be harder to rank.
