Is Awstat calculated my bots as a visit?

    I have a website with a forum, and awstat is showing Im getting 1000-1300 visit per-day, but google Analytic is showing only 30-35 visit per-day. Thats a big difference. Is awstat counting bots from programs like xrummer? Or it doesn't count does.

    Not all but some of the bots count as visit. Google analytics also count as visit.

    Google analytics has much better filters against bots but at the same time some browser addons may block queries to analytics script.
    Awstats count a lot of bots as visitors.
