As the owner of the classifieds, I don't see how posting on any classifieds can be detrimental. Some may argue that posting too many ads for the same thing can be read as spam by Google. From what I understand, Google's algorithm only indexes a couple of identical items and then ignores the rest. They are more concerned with malware downloads and links leading to malware sites. Also, I don't think that SEO depends on classifieds that much (if at all). Classifieds are out there to let your post ads for quick results. Your ad will eventually expire. In our case in 30 days. SEO more depends on your keywords, quality of content, the age of your domain name, etc.
I agree, I have a level of success using your services, and I wouldn't change my tactics at this stage. Classified ads can be very useful . . . . . if you know how to use them.
Its only good for traffic and short term in my view. I mean whens the last person you heard that they made 3,000 links from craigslist?
Maybe not 3,000 links quickly, but as part of a targeted and strategic marketing plan, classifieds are a good way to expose your site faster than normal white hat methods.
