Site getting 25-30k traffic PM but NO adsense earning.......Pls help

I have a popular social bookmarking site.....getting 25-30k UV traffic but my adsense earnings are too low, I am showing you the screenshot pls have a look. This is my site: http://tinyurl.com/3ttgmde ,Alexa Rank: 30k

I have arranged my adsense on site according to google adsense news page guideline i.e 3 content & adsense.......to get the clicks but no success

Guys need a Serious help......Please help me by providing your expert guidelines.....

Maybe because your ads blend in so damn well, your traffic skims right over them... As a matter of fact, I think they blend in way too well, almost camouflage really.

Have you tried changing the color of the title? I would do so immediately.. That's one of the reasons your CTR is so low, besides the fact you have a shitty CPC.

Yea, I tried both method......once I changed the story title & another time I changed Adsense title but still got the same result.
Lastly, I changed both the color to BLACK for getting more clicks.

 

According to Adsense T&C, you're not allowed to have your ads blend in that tightly with the theme/color scheme of your blog. Doing so will get you banned - it needs to be obvious that an advertisement is an advertisement.

even after doing this there's no increment in my earnings........

 

Some niche is just not suitable for adsense. I'm guessing your visitors are mostly webmasters bookmarking their site for SERP rank or indexing, these people are the toughest, they don't click ads.

Maybe you'd better look harder just what type of people are visiting your site and provide ads that suits them, maybe CPA, clickbank or other stuff.

 

Yea, you may be right. But earning through clickbank is again more tougher than adsense because in clickbank we have to sell out their products to get the affiliate income. I tried that but these days who wanna buy products from a social bookmarking site?

 

Clickbank was just an example, the idea is to find what appealing to your visitors. Suppose your visitors are indeed webmasters who wants to gain higher SERP (I might be wrong, but you need to find out), then maybe offering a backlinks package or automatic bookmarking will appeal to them. You can sell them anything, not just clickbank, maybe your own directory submission etc. If you don't have that kind of offer you can always charge them $10 and get them done on fiver (arbitrage) or something like that.

 

I agrees with the above comment... You website is a social bookmark website and who ever comes to the site is already a expert for SEO and link building who knows what adsense is and why that person will click on to your ads... As i am in to SEO as well. I might think it will waste my time to click on ad, Better to do social bookmarking and leave the site.....

I think you should have a better Niche, unique content.. Better ads position(I am facing that problem too) .. Thats it.... Change your domain and come again with a new idea.,. This website is not that worth....

Guys you all are right, now my doubts got clear after knowing your feedback. Btw, what about image/rich media adsense ADS? is it highly payable compared to text ADs?

 

Because I think all of your visitors are bots that bookmark other site. Bookmarking bots generally increase page views but will not actually convert.

 

Change the size of the banners..

 

I just changed the size of the banner & changed the type also into image formatt.......now let c after 24hrs what it results....

 

You guys are telling that the site users are advance users so they don't click, than why there's such difference in the Ad clicks between Adbrite & adsense. Please check the attached adbrite report here, I received 166 clicks on Adbrite AD & when I placed Adsense on adbrite place than I received 54 clicks as you see on my adsense screenshot above. But in both the places the rate of earning is too low around $6-$7 PM ONLY.

 

even the number of clicks differ on both the platform after interchanging.......

 

It's a social bookmarking website, means it's almost useless with adsense. Why? because most of the visitors comes only to bookmark and they are aware of ads and they don't click these ads.
