    basically meta tagging is very important for every wordpress website to optimize then there are so many other wordpress plugins also available that can help you in gaining massive traffic.

    It would be good if tell us what kind of sites are you going to start. Then we could suggest you specifically what kind of plugin you would be needing. but as others have already suggested you about some important plguin I would say if you have a self hosted wordpress then you should get jetpack plguin, its a must have.

    For a basic/personal blog, here's a list of barebones plugins you'll end up needing sooner or later -

    A spam filter - Many people like Akismet, I prefer AlphaOmega Captcha & Anti-Spam Filter.
    A social/sharing plugin. ShareThis is popular. Personally, I use Async Social Sharing. It doesn't offer a million options but its sleek and fast.
    Contact Form - I like Contact Form 7.
    Google XML Sitemaps.
    A caching plugin. There are several good ones out there, I personally use Quick Cache.
    If you want to display your tweets, a Twitter widget is a must. I suggest Simple Twitter Widget.
    Wordpress' posts/pages editor is nice but there are nicer alternatives out there. I like TinyMCE Advanced.
    If you plan on posting videos Viper's Video Tags is essential.
    Recent posts and WP Popular Posts are two must haves as well.

    I love JetPack for wordpress ... it will create a lot of backlinks for you. Jetpack also offers a lot of different stuff, like autoposting to social media sites.
