This is just a guess... but all those who say all-in-one is better than yoast - are you all spammers that want to stuff keywords, etc...??? Not trying to cause a fight, but I don't see how it is better from the basic setup to the more complex aspects of the plugin. My guess is those who prefer all in one have sites that most would consider spam on the internet and not very good sites from user point of view.
Correct me if I am wrong.

(To clarify spam sites - ones made for ads only - MFA types.)

 

I use SEO wordpress, i try All in One SEO Pack... but directly i uninstall it, i dont know how to use it, ha...SEO Wordpress Plugin by Mervin Praison is so simple,but maybe i will try yoast later

 

WP SEO the best plugin i have used ..... now its up to your blogs content weather its fresh and unique or not... because... you need the fresh and unique content for best SEO .... copy pasted content = 0

I have a developers license for DIYTHEMES, Thesis 2.0 Wordpress framework and it has all of the SEO tools built into the framework, no plugins needed! Check it out, its really an advanced next level WP framework, and more geared towards developers, but it is a great piece of software!

I think the best SEO plug-in is All in one SEO pack, it is essential for ranking high with major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Bing. Unlike yoast WordPress SEO, the All in one SEO pack has a single admin page for the configuration of the plug in. I am using it for my website, and have got good results, besides it is easy to use. I didn't know much about SEO at first. When I installed All in one SEO, I still didn't get it. But when I used Yoast, I got the gist of SEO. I think I now know the basics. So I prefer WordPress SEO by Yoast. The page analysis tab really helps me a lot.

 

I have used both of them and I think those two plugins have made for two different category of people. Most of the newbies prefer AIO, as its quite straight forward, has less features and easy to configure. But, the people who know what is SEO, how it works and which nuts & bolts need to be tighten up use yoast (I think so). Though I prefer yoast, but its better to use AIO who don't have a fair idea about how these plugins works.

 

Both plugins are best in WordPress SEO, but if you make some changes and explore more, you should try new WordPress SEO plugin "Wp Full SEO".
