    Hi all, I'm creating a collection of travel websites that I want unified under a single brand. Due to uncreativity and lack of available domain names, I just registered "GenericTravelBlog.com".
    Now I need to make that uncreative name into a strong brand and the first way to do that is with a good logo.

    So the actual brand will be "Generic", and that is the word that will need to be emphasized most. The proceeding words will be the name of the actual product (e.g Travel Blog, Travel Guide, Travel Forum)

    The actual logo I want designed will be for "Generic Travel Blog" and I have no particular design constraints.
    Winner will be chosen after 5 days and payment will be via PayPal. Full layered and editable image will be required.

    EDIT: Forgot to mention, link to font will also be required, and vector will be a huge advantage.

    I am actively excited by some of the concepts I have been shown. ovidiu12, kainraziall and Entitled 2010 (submitted via PM) are currently my favourites. Though props to Gp Singh and ariif for solid concepts.

    @ovidiu12 - Great concept and execution. The compass pointing in the direction of the plane is great and it looks good in B&W.

    @kainraziall - Again great concept and excellent execution. I like the sylised 'g's that people have been doing. Works well in B&W and in colour.

    @Entitled 2010. Brilliant stylization of the G. Some tweaks would be needed which I can discuss with you in person if this logo gets chosen.



    @ariif - Making an ungeneric generic is something you did very well as well as good stylization.

    @gp-Singh - You've taken it in a different direction which I appreciate, but the text needs a bit more work though I can see why you did it.
