looking for some advice on link building

Hey dp,
I am looking for some advice on link building, I have tons of good sites but i want to know the most affective way in link building?

 

Link from quality high PR sites first, press releases, document sharing sites, social media and the like. Link (in turn) to them from article directories, Web 2.0s, bookmarking sites etc. Don't pile up a ton of links, as that looks unnatural to Google.

 

There's no one effective way. It's always a mix of various link building methods so that you have varied backlinks. You can try engaging your users on social media. That gives your site both traffic and backlinks. Another method is guest posting on a blog/site related to yours or is in the same niche as yours.

I wouldn't advise using commenting or forums as your main link-building method, as I think they're more than likely going to be nofollow links, i.e. links not worth mentioning (to Google anyway)..

I'd also advise you stick away from the Black Hat techniques like spamming directories and what not, it'd be best to work with the ones that do work: Guest posting, interacting with the people who you want to give you a link, just as mentioned above.

 

Whatever you do, make sure that all your links are from at least somewhat relevant websites. If you get a ton of links from unrelated (or worse, adult) websites, Google is smart enough to detect that now, and will essentially render all your shiny new backlinks useless and impotent.

 

Try Ezine marketing

Ezine marketing is an electronic news letter that is sent out each day, week, month depending on the Ezine. It is sent to people who have an interest in that topic, meaning that an advertisement about a similar topic would have greater apeel.

Alot of internet guru's have used Ezines to create their first thousand leads (stuart ross and the six figure mentors)
