I'm curious (in more ways than one). Anybody want to speculate on how much money per month you have to make, in order to get the "AdSense Christmas Gift"? Or, if you want, you can just tell us. The one statistic that Google allows us to quote is total earnings. So, it should not be a problem to state your monthly earnings, along with whether or not you received the gift. If you want. Or, if you don't want to say exactly, you can hint at what you know. My first guess is $5,000 per month minimum to get the gift. I did not receive the gift, but I don't make $5,000 per month from AdSense. Yet. What is your best guess (or knowledge)? (This may help those who keep looking for the UPS truck to arrive.) .
Perhaps they do it randomly. But it seems logical that there might be a minimum - A sort of "Thank You" for the amount of business that you have generated.
I think it is random with a minimum. I haven't gotten one, at least not yet, but make more per month than some of those that I've heard have gotten them.
I was going to start a similar thread hoping to get some answers. One other question I have, has anyone from outside the US got the gift?
I got the gift last year in Mexico. It arrived about 2 or 3 weeks after the threads of gifts started popping around the forums
I make over $5000 a month with adsense, I didn't get a gift last year, and I don't expect on this year. Shame, they look pretty cool this year.
Darren has a post here about it: http://www.problogger.net/archives/...stmas-gift-arrives-its-a-digital-photo-frame/
I know someone here in the UK who got one last year on around $3000 a month. I'm topping that now so here's hoping.
I don't think there is a requirement, back in 1990, I was making only $5 a month and didn't receive a gift from Google. Peace,
Last year I received a gift from Google (some cool computer peripherals in a box like wireless mouse, USB memory pen drive etc). I don't live in USA and make above 5K. Have not received any gift this time as of now.
