Hi, For the past few days i can see the indexing status of my website gets decreased in Google Webmaster Tools and in search results as well. I have attained good ranking for my website's keywords a week back, but now they dropped since two days. I don't know what is the exact reason is... I have done ethical SEO and followed the search engine guidelines for my website. Please advise and help me to come out of this issue..

    If you check site:website.com

and it has been de indexed then yes it has been affected by Google updates

question: how do you get it back?

answer: you need to add heaps of great content, remove the ads, make it look like a website, remove paid links or bad backlinks if you can.

Then you submit your website for reconsideration in Google webmaster.

May be it will be effected by Google updates. Start fresh work in both on page and off page SEO work in a relax mode without spamming....

John Michal is right. The best way to go about it is to check if your site has been de-indexed or not by doing the Google search he suggested. If your site has been de-indexed then I suggest getting in touch with Google and asking them for a reconsideration. This way they will be able to let you know why you were de-indexed.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

It happens due to low quality or duplicate content or penguin update.

@humtuma and @vkonnect, I too agree with your points guys...

Some pages contain duplicate content, we are in the process to fix them. What to do next? Will my website pages get indexed after sending reconsideration request once fixed the above issues?

Or should i need to do something else to bring the web pages visible in search results?

    Please advise...

John is right, best method hands down. Don't approach Google for a least 2-4 weeks after you've done what John suggested.

It's been more than a month since i applied reconsideration request to Google. I received a mail from GWT team that no manual spam actions found... But still the indexing status of my website is just 1 page (homepage only). I am very much disappointed... :-(

Any solutions out there? Looking forward to your help experts

    Thnx in advance

If your site is deindexed then i thing you will have to submit your site with webmaster tool. This is one of the easiest way to indexed your site.

I just want to mention that making one of these errors shouldn’t be enough to get you deindexed

First of all, check your content. A website gets DE-indexed due to duplicate content. If you find there is any duplicate content then change your content, if there is no any issue of any duplicacy in content, then i would still like to suggest you to change your content. Check your meta tags, make sure that all the meta tags you have used for different pages of your website are different. After doing these changes, put your website under Google reconsideration.

I agree with your points bro...

But these have been done already! Now our website is clean and have unique & original content and unique meta data as well. No duplication as of now.

First check all your contents. If you have low quality content hence Google may not index your site.
