Hi, My question is how link building is done exactly from forums and blogs ? Example : We post a new topic on forum title (Special Offer - Buy Now with link to the owner website) So when we go to google and search for Special Offer - Buy Now the forum title will be shown but why not it shows the link of the owner website ? How exactly is link building done ? so in google the site is shown first ? Please please explain me in details with your expertise.
Link building means collecting every possible link for your website - like you do with your signature here. It may or may not help you for google results - but its good to have your link around.
i heard if we have too many backlinks for our website it become's no 1 on google ? is that true ? can you please post an example as how i can make my site no 1 on google searching for keyword (web voice chat script or web video chat script) what i need to do ? please explain as how the site becomes no 1 on google ?
The answer to this question is very complicated and everybody has a different opinion. It's not something that can be answered in one forum thread. Search around and start doing research on different methods to increase your ranking. You'll have to put in some time and effort if you want to learn how to do proper link building and SEO.
Link building on forums & blogs is another animal. With forums, you want to put your service with a good keyword & converting link title in your signature. Then, without drawing attention to it, you want to post quality and relevant posts to various forums that relate to the niche you're selling in. This will begin to establish you as an expert on the subject, and your signature will draw more & more attention and begin to convert more as buyers begin to trust you more and see you as an authority on that topic. With blogs, you CAN put your name as your keyword with a link to your site, but I personally prefer to leave the link as my name. Then post a relevant & thoughtful response to whichever post. Interested readers who are targeted & interested in your topic will be the people who click through with your link, which is what you want! Quality is king.
but you are not understanding my point of view, i started a topic here with title (how link building is done from forums and blogs ?) now if you go on google you will find this thread named (how link building is done from forums and blogs ?) on first page and link to forums.digitalpoint.com what i am asking is i want to show my url there on first page like www.something.com on first page instead of showing this thread because i opened the thread with title (how link building is done from forums and blogs ?) and in signature the links are mine so why my website links are not showing on first page of google ? Please explain this to me as i am confused how SEO works ?
Don't bother with forum links and blog commenting for SEO/ranking purposes, both are pretty useless to be honest. Great for traffic, but has little (blog comments) to no (forums) effect on SEO and rankings
I agree. I have tested it many times. It does not work but for traffic their is nothing quite as good for instant results.
Signature links will help but don't expect them to be a huge driver of good SEO results. There are better link building methods, like blogging, social and press releases.
Link building is where create all links back and bring benefit to your site. Mean that rank your site and not rank the post that create. All links and anchor text that you create do bring certain weight to your site and Google evaluate it how your site interact with outside world to evaluate your site quality . This is what link building for and not i create a post on forum and and i wish to rank the post on the search engine which is hard for now.
He's upset because DigitalPoint is ranking above him in the search engine with his keyword, even though the thread contains his link and his phrases and his content. Your website will be shown lower because you don't have as much clout as DigitalPoint does. DigitalPoint has been around for years -- probably a lot longer than your website. That's important to search engines. DigitalPoint is also proven not be malware or anything scammy. I'm not trying to imply that yours is or does, just that search engines are wary of that until you "prove" it to them with positive user response & time.

When any forum accept your signature and then how many post in this forum all are give you as a backlink.
it depends on how many post you have done in forums and how many comments you have given in blog.so if your comment get approve in blog for each comment you will earn a backlinks.
That is part of it. Your domain age is a factor. Your backlinks are a factor. Your social media presence is a factor (this means Facebook, Twitter, Youtube). The quality of your content is a factor. ok i as per the answers i understood that to make any website no 1 it must have many backlinks and offcourse domain age counts! Now am i missing anything to make my website no 1 on google ? please tell me other ways with which i can make my website no 1 on google since my domain age is baby.
Shalwan Listen, forum profiles and signatures work, but only on high pr or .org/.edu forums and only if you are active there. The entire fast forum profile creation with xrumer crap works for a very limited time. If you happen to be apart of a public edu/org forum and have active posts with your link in the signature, its going to effect your SEO standings, but you would have to have hundreds to see any effect.Blogs are a different story, you can create a blog network yourself that will take time, but it can in fact work, if done right, with a lot of posts, and patience. You can also buy premium domains with high PR and start a blog network that way. As long as the content stays fresh and relevant, and you work that into a ton of other SEO factors, then yes it works.Then there is guest blogging, or becoming a writer for other sites. You can gain a link on high pr blogs that belong to others by guest blogging and placing your bio at the bottom of your articles with a link back to your site.If you want to rank a new domain, wait 30 days after it has been purchased. In the first 30 days of the site, work on On Site SEO and make it extremely good, then drop about $200 into very private blog networks, and then stay on top of article submission and adding content to your site.
